Just Ask! You Will be Surprised How Many of Us Have Witnessed the Paranormal.

Next time you are in a group of friends, try and stir the conversation and mood to the subject of paranormal and supernatural experiences. You will be amazed how many will open up and are willing to share their personal experiences. People who you never thought would have something to say on this subject, will reveal intriguing stories of spiritual experiences, ghosts, entities, alien life, unidentified flying objects (UFOs), psychic abilities, extrasensory perception and many more. Contrary to popular belief, paranormal experiences are more common than we may think. Numerous polls and research support this.

Apparently a significant proportion of us have had contact with what we typically refer to as ghosts and entities. According to a 2009 Pew Research survey 18% of Americans say that they have seen a ghost and 29% say they have felt the presence of someone who has died. A UK poll of 2,952 British adults from VoucherCodesPro.co.uk revealed that 68 %  have experienced a supernatural event and 56%  have been given a sign that a deceased loved one was present.

Some celebrities have been open about their ghostly experiences including Sting, Keanu Reeves, Matthew MaConaughey and the Beatles. During the reunion recording of “Free as a Bird” in 1995, the remaining Beatles felt the presence of deceased John Lennon. They experienced strange phenomena such as inexplicable sounds and equipment that was working on its own.

The same applies for UFOs and aliens experiences. The 2002 UFO and ET life Roper poll commissioned by the Sci-Fi channel, 12% said that they or someone else they know has seen a UFO at close quarters while a 2% said they had an encounter with extraterrestrial life. A 1997 Canadian survey indicates that 9.6% of Canadians have seen an UFO and that only 12% of people who have seen a UFO actually report their sighting.

It seems that it is an untold truth that paranormal and supernatural are actually part of the human experience. This part of the human experience has been suppressed for many generations. In the last decades and since the proliferation of the internet we have witnessed a shift. Individuals have had the opportunity to validate that their experiences are in fact part of the human experience.
